Grand Opening ad for the Crest: "From the front throughout the entire building, the Crest Theatre is an ultra-modern design of beauty and luxuriousness. The front is decorated with native flagstone and evergreens. The marquee is beautifully designed in keeping with modern motif of rolling lines. Foyer and lounge area is striking with its mural, pleasing colors and restful comfort in furnishings. The auditorium is illuminated with overhead indirect lighting which does not interfere with your vision of the screen and the draperies make a striking effect of beauty."
