Pleasant Grove movie complex opens day before Thanksgiving

Garden Drive in Pleasant Grove, is scheduled to open on 26 November 1997.  The 18,000-square-foot facility features 6 theaters with a total seating capacity of 1,100.  Originally the multiplex was to have 8 auditoriums, but the owners decided to combine two of them to make a larger 300-seat theater with an eight-channel SDDS sount system.  The theater is owned by Summit Entertainment Group, with Tony Rudman, Jeff Roylance and Mark Morris as co-owners.  The general contractor was Union Pointe, which will also build the the Cinema 6 theater in Tooele in 1998.
