Death Takes Business Woman, 52

Mrs. Alice T. Siouris, 52, 2124 - 7th East, well-known Salt Lake businesswoman, died of natural causes late Friday afternoon at her home.

Mrs. Siouris, who lived in Salt Lake City for 25 years, owned and operated the Frontier Motor Lodge from 1939 until she sold it in 1955.

Until her retirement in 1959, Mrs. Siouris managed the Apollo Theater, which is owned by her husband, Michael A. Siouris.

She was born Jan. 20, 1910, and she was married to Mr. Siouris in Salt Lake City. She is a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Ted M., New York City, and three daughters, Mrs. Glade S. Eckert, Itazuke, Japan, and Mrs. Beulah S. Simmons and Miss Michele Y. Siouris, both Salt Lake City, and four grandchildren.

Other survivors are four sisters, Mrs. Audrey Callas, Mrs. Bertha Hatupes and Mrs. Georgia Georgedes, all Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Jane Vlamis, Chicago.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 279. S. 2nd West.

Prayer services will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. at 8090 S. State. Burial will be in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
