The Mann Riverdale Plaza 4 opened during an expansion of Mann Theatres that added eight new theater complexes in Utah from 1976 to 1982. The theater started advertising as "Mann Fourplex" after owners of the Riverdale Drive-In sued for "parasitical misappropriation."
