The “film-cutting” ceremony for the Coral Cliffs Cinema will be held 2 December 2004.  The theater is the first in Hurricane since the old Star Theater of years gone by.

Half of the money raised during the matinee viewings will be given to the fire department and the other half will go to Hurricane City for new scoreboards at the softball fields.

Moviegoers during the opening weekend will be greeted personally by the staff.  T-shirts, movie passes, and goodies from the concession stand will be given away.  On the night of the grand opening a special digital presentation will show the construction of the building from start to finish.
