GRANITE PARK, March 4 – Salt Lake county firemen, employing their new 1500-gallon water tanker, limited damage to $4000. The fire broke out Friday afternoon at the Apollo theater, 3605 S. State.

An overheated pipe leading from the ...sh burner was termed the cause of the 1:49 p.m. Blaze at the theater, which was vacant at the time. Damage was limited to the rear of the theater.

“The blaze could have been more ...s had it not been for the department's new tanker,” said Fire Chief Jack Clay.
