The Cinemark West Valley and XD opened in the Highbury Centre on 12 July 2014. The neighborhood theater has10 auditoriums, each with “a state-of-the-art viewing environment,” including comfortable high-backed seats, wall-to-wall and ceiling-to-floor screens, bright 4K digital projection powered by Barco projectors, and “enhanced digital surround sound systems that will enable customers to hear the movies as the filmmakers intended.” The largest auditorium features Cinemark XD: Extreme Digital Cinema, Cinemark's private label for their premium large format presentation.

Construction of a new motion picture theater at 3603 South State is progressing according to schedule, according to Michael Siouris, owner. Being built at a cost of $50,000, the theater, which will seat 650, is expected to be completed in 60 days.
