Can-Can Showings in S.L. To Benefit Cancer Fund

Proceeds of the first two performances of Cole Porter's motion picture, "Can-Can," April 14 and 15 at the Villa Theater will go to the Utah Division, American Cancer Society, T. J. (Ted) Speros, co-chairman of the April Cancer Crusade, reported Thursday.
FIRST TICKETS to the premiere performance were sold Mr. Speros Thursday to Gov. and Mrs. George D. Clyde.
A meeting in Utah Division offices Thursday resulted in assignment of volunteers as ticket sales chairmen. These include Betty Allen, Phyllis Neilson, Elaine Jack, Frances Remund, Margaret Foote, Francs H. Hoopes, Margaret E. Earl and Ethel L. Reisman.
TICKET sales begin Friday.
The Cole Porter musical in Todd-A-O stars Frank Sinatra, Shirley MacLaine, Maurice Chevalier and Louis Jourdan.
