In San Jose, the support beams of the ceiling extend beyond the exterior wall and meet the ground.  In Salt Lake, the ceiling beams ended at the top of the exterior wall. - , Utah

When the Century 23 in San Jose was divided into two auditoriums, cuts were made into the domed roof to accommodate the edge of new screens in cramped quarters.  The Century 22 in Salt Lake had two such extensions made to its domed roof and the Century 21 may have had as many as four. - , Utah

At the Century 23 in San Jose, four exits were cut into the front of the dome, with stairs descending either side of the covered entrance.  No such modifications marred the Salt Lake buidings. - , Utah

The covered entrance of the Century 23 in San Jose is almost identical to the Century buildings in Salt Lake.  The box office was at the right end, with glass windows and entrance doors along the curve of the building. - , Utah

 The entrance to the right auditorium at San Jose.  In Salt Lake, the auditorium doors were further back along the curved all, but the position of the Mens restroom was the same. - , Utah
