National Guard Theatre Guestbook
Records 1 to 2 of 2

Don Bryson, Magna Utah, 4 January 2019

I was an active duty Guardsmen and Security Police at the Utah Air National Guard Base, and we would go and sit either in the cry room, or just in the back and watch a movie until we either got called out for a detail, or a post change. The Malmbergs ran the theater and did it well. I think that they might have just worn out and stopped, but there were always a lot of families who came.
We also held Commanders Call In the theater, until in 1992 the heavy snowfall brought the whole building down. We were sad to have it gone.

Kerry Ross, Las Vegas, Nevada, 17 January 2008

Back in the 1970's my family and I spent many Saturday evenings at the National Guard Theatre. These were rare oppurtunities as we had a large family and could not afford normal ticket prices at public theatres. Hoping to get more information on the theatre and try to find photos. Please e-mail me if you have further information.
