The Gem Theater opened before 1922.1  The theater was located on Main Street and showed movies from about 1935 to 1950.2

In 1931 the Gem Theater was purchased and upgraded by a merchant named W. F. Asimus.

Bill Webb, of Price, was the proprietor of the Jem Theater in 1955.4
