Organ Loft
South Salt Lake, Utah
Lawrence Bray opened the Organ Loft in 1946 after installing the theater organ from the Utah Theatre in his aunt's former chicken coop. The Organ Loft holds silent film festivals several times a year, but makes most of its income from banquets and wedding receptions. The theater's organ has 2,400 pipes ranging in size from 8 inches to 16 feet.

The Main Street Theatre was built in 1914 by Howard M. Thorley. The theater was later sold to John Rowberry, the Yergenson brothers, and then Jack Sawyer. Sawyer remodeled the theater and converted it into a twin screen. Sawyer later sold the theater to Westates Theatres. Westates closed the theater in September 2005 after selling it to an investor.<1>
