Alta Theatre to Open April 30

Opening date of the Alta Theatre announced for Wednesday April 30th, when the big show Of the Commercial Club of Brigham City will occupy the fully equipped, roomy stage necessary to accommodate this production. The new play house is now being decorated and receiving its final finishing touches which are progressing rapidly. Beautiful and artistic scenery, curtains and other stage accessories, comfortable opera chairs with wide aisles. Two powerful and latest model motion picture machines will be installed In the asbestos-lined fire-proof operating room, projecting perfect motion pictures, the kind that do not flicker. New equipment throughout the entire house. The decorating now almost completed give the theatre a home-like appearance. Thursday, May 1st, the day following the opening of the Alta by the Commercial Club players, will be the Initial offering of the Alta Theatre complete motion picture program and first presentation in Brigham City of the Kalem three reel feature, still the famous dective, William J. Burns and the popular "movie" favorite, Alice Joyce in the "Exposure of the Land Swindlers." On the following two nights, Friday and Saturday, May 2nd and 3rd, an entire change of pictures, including the Pathe Feature in two reels, "The Retreat from Moscow." Other attractions will be announced shortly.
