Improving Theater
News Advocate, 21 April 1921, page 8
Improvements in the way of better ventilation and new paint and calcimine are being made in the Eko theater by Manager C. M. Stringham. Several new openings have been made in the walls and electronic fans installed and several ventilators are also being made through the roof of the building. The entire inside of the theatre is being gone over with paint and calcimine and is beginning to take on an entirely new appearance. Some changes are also to be made in the lighting of the building, especially the lobby. These improvements being made by Mr. Stringham do not mean that he has given up building a new theater, he states, but the improvements have been needed so badly and for so long he decided to go ahead with them and thinks they will be worth their cost, if only used a few months.
