It's Showtime! at the Bumbleberry

Rhett Thomas:

• originally from Long Beach, California
• traveled the country from coast to coast, performing such big show cities as Branson, Mo., and Las Vegas
• head of Rhett Thomas Productions, a group that has entertained throughout the country
• as a family man, he decided five years ago to put down roots and land in one place for a while
• reopened the Bumbleberry Theatre in Springdale, the gateway to Zion National Park
• served as director and performer

Bumbleberry Theatre:

• same owner as the Bumbleberry Inn
• theater originally performed melodramas
• was closed for about a year before Thomas reopened it
• three original productions: “Twist the Night Away,” “I Fall to Pieces: The Life and Music of Patsy Cline,” “It's Showtime!”
