Salt Lake City is moving forward with plans for a $81 million Broadway theater in the old Newspaper Agency Corp. building. The city's Redevelopment Agency received proposals from two developers : the Hines Co. (Kearns Building in Salt Lake, Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, and New World Symphony in Miami) and Steve Crane / Moshe Safdie (Salt Lake's award-winning Main Library).
