Orpheus Theatre Changes Ownership the First of Week
Vernal Express, 28 March 1919, page 8
The Orpheus theatre underwent a change in ownership Monday, as a result of Lee brothers, of Dragon, purchasing the controlling stock of $12,000 from three of its former principal stock holders, N. J.. Meagher, C. W. Showalter, and Andrew King.
H. A. Lee and N. F. Lee are now making their home in Vernal, but are formerly of Dragon, where they have been interested in the cattle industry for several years. Their purpose in taking over this theatre will be to conduct dances and motion pictures shows, giving the public the best service possible.
Mr. Showalter, who has acted as manager of the Orpheus for several years, will spend the balance of the year in Idaho, where he has mining interests.
