Casino Star Theatre Presents 'Principles of Freedom'

Casino Star Theatre, 29 April 2010

The Casino Star Theatre in Gunnison will present a study session on the U.S. Constitution, Principles of Freedom, on Saturday, May 22, 2010, in the auditorium of the historic theatre. It will start at 10:00 a.m., break for lunch at noon, then resume for an afternoon period from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Because of the generosity of local sponsors, the event is entirely free to the public.

Gary and Carolyn Alder, founders of the American Constitutional Paradigm and the Freedom Formula, will be presenting this important civic educational session in Gunnison just two weeks after the State Party Conventions.

The Alders will also host an important gathering of Utah’s 2010 candidates for the U.S. Senate on May 6 at 7:00 p.m., at the Salt Lake County Government Complex, South Building S1007, at 21st South and State. On site capacity is only 100, although a free live streaming broadcast, courtesy of WeAreChangeUtah, will be accessible at www.freedomformula.us.

This is the last opportunity to hear all of the candidates. Most of them will be eliminated in State Party Convention two days later. Ten senatorial candidates have confirmed their participation: Scott Bradley, Constitution Party; Democrats Sam Granato and Christopher Stout; and Republicans Tim Bridgewater, David Y Chiu, Merrill Cook, Cherilyn Eager, Leonard J. Fabiano, Jeremy Friedbaum, and Mike Lee. Senator Robert F. Bennett’s son, Jim Bennett, will appear on his father’s behalf.

The Senatorial Candidate event, called FOCUS on FREEDOM, is a discussion of the Founding Fathers’ principles of freedom rather than a debate of current issues. All of the U.S. Senatorial Candidates were sent information explaining “15 Simple Keys” to understanding principles of freedom. Prior to the event the candidates are expected to study the material relating to the principles and the questions to be asked. The format of the discussion will be to read one of the keys followed by a statement relating to that key. A candidate will then be asked to take a stand either “to defend” or “to refute” the statement

FOCUS on FREEDOM is sponsored by Heritage Training Center - Gary and Shirley Wood. RSVP for a seat at events at: www.heritagetraining.ning.com

The public can also take the challenge to discover the “15 Simple Keys” to understanding the paradigm of the Founding Fathers, also the questions being asked the candidates at: www.freedomformula.us
