The Salt Lake County Zoning Commission took under advisement Friday morning a request from Fox-Intermountain Theatres, Salt Lake City, to construct a 850-seat movie theater at the Cottonwood Mall, 4800 South and Highland Drive.
Ted Kirkmeyer, Salt Lake City manager for the theater chain, emphasized the shopping center theater would be constructed at the south end of the Mall and would not require obtaining land outside the Mall.
