Remodeling of the Theatre Practically Completed
San Juan Record, 3 June 1948, page 1
The rooms formerly occupied by the county physician have been done away with, a part of this space being used to enlarge the seating capacity of the show house. The projection room on the second floor has been moved back, and there is an office adjoining. An attractive foyer near the stairway is a new feature.
New sound equipment is awaiting installation in the projection room, including a new speaker located behind the screen which has a wider range of tone, according to Claude Foy, owner and operator of The Little Theatre. The old speaker could not reproduce well the voices of certain actresses with high voices.
When the new sound apparatus is in operation, The Little Theatre in Monicello will be second to none in the state.
