Panguitch Kinema Burnt Down
Richfield Reaper, 14 February 1924, page 8
A. L. Stallings, president and manager of the Kinema Theaters, Consolidated, suffered a heavy loss Saturday when his Panguitch show house, also called the Kinema, burnt down completely. The fire originated during the evening performance when a film caught fire. Soon the house was a mass of flames, all woodwork and other combustibles were destroyed and even one of the brick walls collapsed. Fourteen chairs and a carpet was all that was saved. The house was erected and equipped three years ago at an expense of $10,000, and the damage is only partly covered by insurance.
