Kinema Managers in Conference

Richfield Reaper, 21 April 1921, page 1
The managers of the Kinema theaters of Richfield, Salina, Aurora, Monroe, Panguitch, Mt. Pleasant, Centerfield, Scipio and Holden were holding a conference at the Richfield house Sunday, General Manager A. L. Stallings presiding.  The matters discussed at the conference were pertaining to the general business policies of the circuit with a view to give the theater-goers the best pictures at the lowest possible prices.  Comparing the performances in the houses of the Kinema Consolidated Theatres, Inc., with those in the largest theaters of Salt Lake city, it was found that just as good material was shown in the Kinema houses as in Salt Lake, and while the Salt Lake theatres had the advantage of much larger audiences to appeal to and of continuous performances, the prices here compared most favorably with Salt Lake prices.

The business meeting was held in the morning.  In the afternoon the resident managers of the circuit previewed certain pictures that are to be shown here and then went to Monroe to inspect the new theater building there.  In the evening a visit was made in Salina to attend the performance there.
