World Premier of 'Union Pacific' At Thorley

Definite word has been received from Hollywood that Cedar City will have the World Premier showing of “Union Pacific” the epic picture filmed at Cedar City, according to Mel Thorley, manager of the local show houses.

Mr. Thorley announces that the picture will open at the Thorley Theatre at midnight April 2th, and continue for a three day run.  In an effort to satisfy the hundreds of people who will undoubtedly want to see the picture the management of the theatre announces that the Sunday show will commence at 3 p. m. and the Monday and Tuesday shows will commence at 6 p. m.

It is also understood that there is a possibility that one or more of the stars of the picture may visit Cedar City on those days.  An effort is being made to have both Miss Barbara Stanwyck and Joel McRea, stars of “Union Pacific”, attend.
