Remodeled Thorley Theatre Opened Sunday

Iron County Record, 12 September 1935, page 4

The Thorley Theatre reopened Sunday after having been closed for two weeks for remodeling and redecoration.  The extensive remodeling program is not yet completed, but has been completed to a point where the show can continue to run.

The front of the show house, the entrance and foyer, has been completely changed making it much more attractive and convenient, and the interior has been redecorated and relighted, giving a beautiful effect.

New seats have been ordered and will replace the old ones in the near future.

The program is costing approximately $8,000 and when completed will make the show house the equal to any in the state, outside of the larger centers.
