To the Folks of Panguitch

We moved here six months ago with the intention to open the Gem Theatre; however, we could not come to terms with the owners in Salt Lake.  We abandoned the idea until recently when we were re-contacted by the owners and a negotiation appeared positive.

In the meantime, however, we leased the Frostop drive-in from Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cline, and I became associated with another business.  Due to the latter, we are sorry to say that we will not be opening the theatre as planned, although it is possible that another businessman in the area might.

We are looking forward to a pleasant and continued residence in Panguitch, and sincerely thank all of you for the heart warning welcome we have received as new residents in the community.  We further hope that you will visit Betty’s Frostop frequently, along with the other fine restaurants and merchants in Panguitch.
