Lyceum Theatre to Reopen

The Lyceum, which has been closed for several weeks on account of being destroyed by fire, will open its doors to the public again on Monday night, Oct. 23, with vaudeville and pictures. The theater is beautifully decorated inside and out, and when completed will be one of the most up-to-date and modern 10c and 20c theaters in the west. A new stage has been built to take the place of the one destroyed by fire and all new fixtures, electrical apparatus, draperies, scenery and stage equipment has been installed.

Mr. J. R. Nuckols, formerly proprietor of the Lyceum, recently sold all his interests in the business to Fred Hayter and Jesse Fudge, two well known theatrical men who come to our city highly recommended.

Mr. Hayter, who takes the management of the house, is an old showman, having owned and managed a circuit of family theaters in the middle west up to opening of last season, when he became interested in road attractions.

It is the intention of the new management to give the best entertainments possible at all times, paying particular attention to the care of the ladies and children. Mr. Hayter will bring from the east Robert Churchill, who possesses a rich baritone voice and who served under Mr. Hayter's management for over three years. Mr. Churchill will arrive for the opening on Monday night.

The Lyceum will give three shows daily, with two complete changes every Monday and Thursday.
