Six Bouts on Boxing Slat Here Tonight

Four six-round bouts will headline the final boxing show of the early summer at the Rex theatre tonight. The card will open with four-round preliminary at 8:30 O'clock sharp.
Bouts will bo resumed in the early fall at tho Rex theatre, Promoter Newman announced today.
Dick "Dynamite" Kapp, heavyweight of experience, will oppose William Edmun, colored boxer of Omaha in the main attraction. Kapp performed here in the days of Billy Wallace and Spug Myers and always gave the fans entertainment of merit.
The husky boxer carries a punch in either hand and is capable of taking 'em also. Edmun comes as a well recommended battler.
Bobby Mason of Salt Lake and Kid Robson of Ogden are carded for six rounds of action in one of the other feature bouts. Mason has listed a number of victories during the past season and faces a hard hitting youngster in Hobson.
Earl Hocking of Salt Lake and Johnny Chain, both clever boxers, are down for six cantos also. Chain has a wide following here and is a favorite over his opponent.
In the other six-rounder Berney Sneddon of Ogden and Detroit Kid of Detroit will clash. Sneddon is coming rapidly to the front. He is a polished youngster and hopes for an early knockout over his rival.
In the feature four-round preliminary Danny O'Brien of Ogden, clever 118-pounder, gets a chance to show his wares against Danny Moore of Ogden.
O'Brien is rated with the best little men of the state and will work for a knockout tonight. A four-round preliminary will open the show.
