The Cinemark West Valley and XD opened in the Highbury Centre on 12 July 2014. The neighborhood theater has10 auditoriums, each with “a state-of-the-art viewing environment,” including comfortable high-backed seats, wall-to-wall and ceiling-to-floor screens, bright 4K digital projection powered by Barco projectors, and “enhanced digital surround sound systems that will enable customers to hear the movies as the filmmakers intended.” The largest auditorium features Cinemark XD: Extreme Digital Cinema, Cinemark's private label for their premium large format presentation.
