Buying Price Property

Carbon County News, 12 June 1913, page 2

C. G. Edgerton, a real estate man from Bayard, Neb., was in the city last week, investigating the Short block, occupied by the New York Store, the Princess Theatre and the Oxford Hotel, and before he left town he concluded a deal whereby he became the owner of the property, trading therefor 100 acres of good Nebraska farm land and paying a difference in cash.  The building was erected in 1911 by Geo. N. Short, a traveling man, and has always paid a handsome dividend, but Mr. Short is now traveling through Nebraska and the Dakotas and he desired to invest his money in property he could see ocasionally.  Mr. Edgerton considers the Short block one of his best investments and may conclude to make other investments in Price.
