McIff Improves Kinema Service

Garfield County News, 9 February 1923, page 1

We wish to compliment E. 0. McIff on the production, "Way Down East", which appeared at the Kinema last Monday night.  It was a good picture and the operating was good.  The picture stayed in the frame all evening and the light was good.  That's what we want, Mac, good pictures and good service.  Some say that a good picture show will not pay in Panguitch.  We say pooh pooh to any such talk.  Last Monday night was a striking example that it will pay.   Give the people of Panguitch their money's worth and they will buy.  Of course, last year nothing in the way of amusements would pay here nor anywhere else, even at Richfield business was bad, but now that money is getting more plentiful, and business is expected to pick up there is no reason to cut down on service or use inexperienced help, or help that does not care and allow the public to pay for something it does not get.  Keep up the standard, Mac, and it's a ten to one bet that you will get the business.
