Change is Made in Theatre Management
Garfield County News, 12 September 1940
Kay Heywood has replaced Deck Roberts as manager of the Gem theatre. Mr. Roberts has left for Salt Lake City, where he has accepted employment.
The new manager states that it is planned to offer customers the same high class productions in moving picture entertainment and to improve the programs as much as possible. The doors of the theatre will open at 7:15 p.m. and the show will start at 7:30, according to Mr. Heywood, and this ruling will prevail until further notice. He also wished to call the attention of local patrons to the advantage of the newly instigated family budget plan system. He states that budget cards may be purchased at the box office.
