New Sound System at Vogue Theatre Installed

Vernal Express, 5 May 1938, page 1

Last week final installation was made of a R. C. A. Sound system at the Vogue theatre.  The new equipment is the very latest obtainable and the same system used in most of the larger theatres.  An octave higher and lower range is possible with the new system, called “The Magic Voice of the Screen.”

The deep base tones are now distinctly heard and the high tones are brought out clearly.  A double-speaker replaces the single type used heretofore.

A cooling system is to be installed to add to the comfort of theatre goers, announces Mrs. E. R. L. Cooper, manager.  This will be completed before warm weather this summer.
