Vogue Theater Remodeling For Drug Store

Vernal Express, 11 August 1960, page 1

Work was scheduled to begin today (Thursday) on remodeling the historic Vogue theater.

Glenn Cooper and Harvey Madsen of Vernal Drug Co. disclosed Wednesday that the old theater building would be remodeled and the drug company would move into the newly remodeled building.

The current Vernal Drug store will then be leased, they said. Several prospects have expressed interest in leasing the building but no definite arrangements have yet been made, it was pointed out.

The remodeling job will include tearing out the front of the Vogue, just leaving the roof and walls. The ceiling will be lowered and after completion of the work, all new fixtures will be installed for the new home of Vernal Drug Co.
