A view of the theater's sign, with the 1977 addition in the background. The yellow curb in the foreground is for the street leading to Cottonwood Mall. Beyond a bit of lawn is a drive-through drop-off for the theater. Grant Smith 28 September 2001
The original theater building features a single-story lobby, with a three-line attraction board. Behind it rises the original auditorium, split into two screens in 1976. In the foreground is what appears to be a drop-off lane. Grant Smith 28 September 2001
A panorama of the front facade, stitched together from two photos. Some gaps in the combined image have been filled using Photoshop generative fill, increasing the amount of lawn in foreground. Grant Smith 28 September 2001
In early 1977, an addition on the north side of the original building provided two additional auditoriums. The addition is set back from the original lobby and lacks a covered walkway. Grant Smith 28 September 2001
Near the north side of the small front parking lot is a sign for Carmike Cinemas. On the attraction board are Zoolander, Legally Blonde, The Others, and Jay & Silent Bob. Grant Smith 28 September 2001
Looking at the theater from the north. The 1977 addition is on the right, with a pair of exit doors halfway along the rear wall. The original building is in the background on the left. The top of an original auditorium exit is visble to the right of a garbage dumpster. Grant Smith 28 September 2001
Looking southwest at the rear of the theater, with the original building on the left. The 1977 addition, on the right, was built back as far as the exit doors for the original auditorium. Grant Smith 28 September 2001
These exit doors are original to the main building, but now service the smaller of two auditoriums. The exterior wall on the right is for the 1977 addition. Grant Smith 28 September 2001
The east wall of the original building. The two exit doors were added when the original auditorium was split. The larger auditorium occupied slightly more than three fifths of the original. Grant Smith 28 September 2001
At the northeast edge of the parking lot, trees grow along the side of Big Cottonwood Creek. Grant Smith 28 September 2001

The lobby is on the west end of the building. Two additional auditoriums were added on the northeast end of the building in 1977. The southeast end of the Cottonwood Mall is pictured in the top of the photo. Courtesy of the U.S. Geological Survey, 12 September 1997
