Box Elder News, 7 October 1909, page 4
James G. Ellis of Ogden, purchased the Globe Theatre last week from Messrs. Stark, and will operate that place in the future.
Mr. Ellis is associated with his father in “The Joie” moving picture theatre at Ogden, one of the best of its kind in the Junction City, and he will remove his family to Brigham where they will make their home, Mr. Ellis looking after this end of the business while his father will conduct the show in Ogden.
Mr. Ellis called at his office Saturday and stated that he had secured a first class American service which will furnish his films of an up-to-date and interesting character and he expects to make the Globe second to none in the state.
