Children's Theatre
South Salt Lake, Utah

Since 1985, the Children's Theatre had never obtained a long term lease or owned a building.  After searching for a permanent home for over three years, the Children's Theatre announced in June 2011 the purchase of the Avalon Theatre in South Salt Lake.  The theater's new home will feature a 185-seat auditorium with carpeted aisles, stadium seating, a thrust stage, and 17-foot high ceilings.  For information on how you can help, visit the Children's Theatre website.

The Canyon Drive In Theatre was located Bryce Canyon and was open from about 1963 to 1964.

The "Canyon Drive Inn Theatre" was listed in the 1963 Richfield Classified Telephone Directory as being in Bryce Canyon.  The address was "E of City", or east of city. The phone number had a 723 prefix, which should make it a Brigham City number.<1>

The 1964 International motion picture almanac listed a Canyon Drive-In in Brigham City.<2>
In other instances the almanac appears to have listed the home address of the theater's owner rather than theater's physical location.
