Sam's Garage Being Razed
Garfield County News, 27 January 1933, page 1
Another of the old landmarks of Panguitch will soon be relegated to the limbo of things forgotten when the building now occupied by Sam's Garage is torn down to make room for a modern structure to be built in the very near future.
According to the plans there is to be constructed a modern garage and repair shop on the grounds now occupied by the old opera house, which was built some forty or more years ago, and which has served the community in many capacities since it was first constructed.
At different times during the growth of Panguitch to its present state the structure has been alternately used for a show house, roller skating rink and for the past thirteen years it has served Sam Barton as a garage and repair shop.
