Businesses struggle with loss of student workers as school begins

Local businesses will be hit hard as teens and college students leave their summer jobs to go back to school.  The Tooele Cinema 6 theaters will lose so many workers and patrons that its operating schedule will be forced to change in September.  The theater will open at 4 PM on weekdays instead of noon.

"It can be hard to deal with when kids leave, but school does come first and you just have to work around it," said Gary Lund, Cinema 6 general manager.
