The Happy Hour Theatre, built about 1905, was the first theater in Murray and played silent films with a player piano and occasional vocal or instrument solos. After closing in about 1925, it became part of the drug store next door and was still standing in 2019.
The new University Stadium 6 is close to the university and features new screens and projectors, although none of them are digital. One auditorium seats more than 400.
