Electric Theatre

Vernal Express, 1 May 1908, page 2

Beginning tomorrow, Saturday afternoon with matinee, Vernal will put on more metropolitan airs than ever.  The Electric Theatre will open in the Social Hall and performances will be given every night except Friday night.   Matinees will be given Saturday and Monday afternoons.  The show will consist of moving pictures and illustrated songs and the public will have the benefit of the very best there is going.  Tom Birchell will sing the illustrated songs and Miss Lois Trim will play the piano.  There will be three moving pictures and two songs at each performance.  The entertainment will last for two hours, from 8:30 to 10:30 p. m.

Messrs. Mease and Sheldon, the proprietors of this new show, announce that they have secured among the moving pictures some of those that have been received throughout the country with a great deal of enthusiasm.   These pictures include The Bull Fight, The Train Robbery, Thirteen at the Table, Excursion to the Moon, The Holdup, Angel of the Village, A Modern Sampson, Swedish Dance and many others of comedy, tragedy, and sentiment.

The prices are announced in the big advertisement on another page.
