Indie Cinema in Beaver: Main Street Theatre

Scott Fotheringham, a respiratory clinician, and his wife Jennifer, an account, re-opened the 286-seat cinema in 2009 as the Main Street Theatre. The front hallway has art deco light fixtures from when the theater first opened and bright red carpet from the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas.

[The article stated, "The cinema, Jennifer says, might be haunted by the ghost of the original owner, ol' man Firmage, who set up a number of cinemas in southern Utah in the 1930s."  This was likely a mix-up in the reporters notes.  Jennifer told him that when they held a spook alley on Halloween, they told the children the theater was haunted, but this was only to add to the spooky atmosphere.  She does not believe the theater to be haunted.]
