Beauty Marks Fine Interior

Ogden Standard Examiner, 2 July 1924, page T1

Beautiful in their color effects, striking in the arrangement and following the most authentic Egyptian types are the decorations of the Perry Egyptian theater, which have been placed upon the walls, the pillars and the ceiling by Claussen & Nehring, the well known firm of decorators of Salt Lake. When the theater is entered, one of the most interesting phases is the beauty of the decorative scheme, whither it be the starry dome, seemingly a star-lit sky, in the main auditorium of the theater, the interesting side walls with their colorful balconies, the stage, the pillars, the foyer or lobby. Throughout the entire building there is that same beauty that architects, decorators, and designers have secured only through most careful study and difficult work.

Claussen & Nehring is a decorating firm which has achieved much prominence through the intermountain country and have decorated a number of the finer buildings of the state, including a number of the better homes.
