R. M. Hoggan to Open Store
Clothing Establishment to Locate In Theatre Building
Ogden Standard Examiner, 2 July 1924, page T1
Robert M. Hoggan's new store for men will occupy the south store room in the new Peery Egyptian Theater building, one of the finest store rooms in Ogden. Arrangements are now being made by Hoggan for the removal from his present store at 335 Twenty-fourth street and, so that there will be a complete new stock of merchandise in the new store, a removal sale is being conducted.
In making the change to this new store room, Hoggan is making his second move since entering the business field in Ogden. He was first located on Hudson avenue, near Twenty-fifth street. Rapid growth of business cause him to move to the larger location on Twenty-fourth street. When he takes the new store on Washington avenue, probably within a month, he will have about double the floor space, as well as one of the most modern store rooms in the state.
He and his brother, William Hoggan, who has been associated with him in the development of the Twenty-fourth street store, have been making a careful and thorough study of the latest developments regarding men's stores and these will be included in the new establishment, where there will be a most complete stock of clothing and haberdashery.
