Orpheum Circuit at Alhambra Theater
Ogden Standard Examiner, 21 September 1915, page 7
Manager H. E. Skinner of the Alhambra theater has returned home from Los Angeles, Cal., after completing arrangements for the introduction of Orpheum vaudeville at the Alhambra. The date set of the inauguration of the new attraction is Thursday, Sept 30. Each program will consist of 7 acts and will run three days each week, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with a daily matinee.
The show will be sent to Ogden direct from Los Angeles, playing at the local theater before going to Salt Lake City.
While in Los Angeles, Mr. Skinner secured a full equipment of scenery for the Alhambra, which, he stated last night, included replicas of some of the most costly sets in the country.
The headliner for the opening week will be “The Mysteries of Pekin,” an elaborate scenic act, and the following week, Mrs. Leslie Carter will head the bill.
