All FatCats Locations to Temporarily Close End of Day on March 18th Due to Coronavirus

Salt Lake City, UT (March 17, 2020) – FatCats will close all eight of its locations end of day on March 18th in order to ensure the safety of all employees and guests amidst the changing Coronavirus (COVID-19) landscape. While there is currently no set date for when FatCats will reopen all locations, guests and employees will be kept updated throughout the process.

“Our main goal at this time is, of course, the safety of all our employees, their families, and our communities,” said Paul Brockbank, CEO. “We want to thank each and every one of our team members for their immense dedication to the well-being of all FatCats visitors. Thank you also to our guests for filling our restaurants, movie theaters, and bowling alleys with so much enjoyment. We look forward to being able to welcome you back soon.”

What does this mean for me?

Advance Ticket Purchases:

Ticket purchases made in advance on our website may be refunded on our website here. If the movie start time is less than 1 hour away, please contact the theater directly to acquire a refund.

Advance Event Sales:

If you have purchased an event in advance, that event is available for a refund by contacting the center where the event will be held. Eventbrite advance purchases may be refunded through Eventbrite.

How will I know when FatCats has opened again?

FatCats will make every effort to keep customers and the public informed of when we will re-open. Such information will be shared on our website, on owned social media channels and through email communication.

Gold Rewards Benefits:

If you are a Gold Cat Rewards member and your Free Birthday movie ticket becomes available during our closure, your benefit will be reinstated once we have re-opened. You will be notified by email when your reward is available again.

Additionally, all Gold Cat memberships will be extended the length of time we are closed. For example, if we are closed for two weeks, your membership benefits will be extended for two additional weeks.
