Elite Theatre Co.

What do you know about this.
I have requested suggestions for improving the program at this [theatre] arguing that you, better than we, know the kind of pictures you like.
Not a word has been said. Now that might be taken as meaning that everything pleases everybody, but when no more than 10 per cent our population happens around each night, we know differently.
Right now it stands this way: We have got the best operator we know of and have given him the latest improved equipment on the market, and with it he is getting as good results as we have seen anywhere, as far as projection is concerned. Three days out of each week the General Film Co. ships us four reels of pictures, selected from the entire output which they handle except those released within the next 90 days.
Yet only 10 per cent of the people get around to see our show. In all seriousness I ask the other 90 per cent, what do you want? Under our present ruling one has the privilege of seeing in each program one feature of at least 2 reels, but the General Film Co, are releasing enough multiples to give us larger features and to give us one each day if we are sufficiently anxious for them, or to be perfectly frank, willing to pay for them.
If you are a sufficient number or if you want a three, four or five reel feature, or a daily change of program, we will put on the larger features next week. Watch for our announcements, which will appear in the next issue of the paper.
Newspapers, which but a short time ago would not permit the moving picture to exist are today eager to learn and print all the news in the motion picture field.
Today the moving picture is the strongest factor in both the world of education and amusements, its power and popularity are making it the object of legislative attention in the Village City and Nation.
