On the 1917 Sanborn map, the Elite Theatre was a wood frame buidling, with the function listed as "moving pictures."  The theater had electric lights, heat stoves, and a gasoline engine.  Between 1913 and 1917, a 12-foot addition was apparently added between the foyer and the sidewalk.

On the 1931 Sanborn map, the Elite Theatre had become a garage with a capacity for 25 cars, with a gas tank out front. Missing in the revised drawing are one of the interior walls and a small room south of the former stage.  A similarly sized room was added north of the stage.
