On 5 October 1988, SCERA put a Six-Track Dolby Stereo logo at the top of its newspaper ads, even though films were playing in 35MM, which is limited to Four-Track Dolby Stereo.  Highlighting the theater's maximum capability may have been in response to the opening the Cinemark Movies 8 in Provo, which boasted Utah's first THX certified auditorium.
