Cinemark USA opened Movies 10 on 27 March 1992 as part of the new Sugar House Shopping Center. The 10-screen theater was Cinemark's second discount theater in the Salt Lake area and was intended to fill the niche between first-run movies and home video. The largest auditorium was the fourth THX-certified screen in Utah. The theater closed 2 November 2014 for remodeling with Luxury Loungers, electric-powered recliners with cup holders and footrests.
