Cache Valley 3, Logan
Westates Theatres Inc. will take over management of the Cache Valley 3 theater from Carmike Cinemas on 16 February 2002. Westates entered a short-term lease agreement with JP Realty after Carmike Cinemas decided to pull out of the theater.
Westates will spend $50,000 to $100,000 on upgrading movie and sound equipment in the Cache Valley 3. Westates is also negotiating to replace the theater with a new multiplex with six to eight screens and stadium seating.
Holladay Centre Cinemas
Westates Theatres took over the Holladay Centre Cinemas from Loews Cineplex in 2001.
Westares Theatres
Westates was founded roughly 50 years ago by Rudman's father, Anthony William Rudman.
